First finished her GRC running against stiff competition on the LGRA racing fields in the Northeast. She has also been started in the sport of plastic bag chasing and is working on her Field Championship. Besides her successes on the field, First is a sweetheart who enjoys games with her dog friends. She is also showing potential as a beauty queen as she works her way to a conformation championship. I invite you to visit the Silkenswift website by clicking HERE.

At her home in Maryland, First was out for a run one December day in 2007 and a deer lept into the field. She got to chase the deer until it crashed out of the field to continue its journey. Obviously, First is really wishing she could follow that deer to continue the chase. Renee McCartin just happened to be there with a camera and snapped this shot. Thank you, Renee!

Here is a photo of First in her yard in November of 2008.

Renee McCartin took some photos for me of Miss First out with some of the other dogs at Bonnie Dalzell's Silkenswift Kennels. It is nice to see that she has grown into quite a lovely lady.

Here is a photo of First after she shed all her hair in the aftermath of her second litter. She has a really nice body and over all structure that shows up quite well when she is naked.

It has been a long time since I had a photo of First's front. It is good to see it is as nice as it was before she left for her new home.

This is a nice picture of First running at The CoBRA LGRA Meet on September 11, 2011.

Now that First is trying her paw at lure coursing, she is showing good form and enthusiasm. I am very pleased with the overall athleticism of this litter. This picture was taken in 2010 by Susan M. Carter.

This is also a Susan M Carter photograph taken at the same lure trial in 2010 as the one above.
