Bheru just loved this ball. While his littermates also played with it, it was Bheru who really enjoyed it. I bought the ball on a whim. Boy am I glad I did: it was the best 99 cents I ever spent.
Here is Bheru quietly awaiting his turn with his former owner, Debra, at his first official lure course. I am sharing this photo to show people that he could act in a civilized manner at a lure course, at least sometimes. I have many more photos of Bheru up in the air while approaching the starting line at lure courses than I have of him quietly watching the field like this.

Bheru used to just leap with excitement as Debra brought him to the line. He was really keen. What a handful he was for Debra. Now he gets to watch ducks when he goes on his walks with Richard and his new Borzoi friends and chase ground squirrels when he goes to Colorado for the summers. Not a bad trade off.

I am glad I was able to get such good photos from Dan Gauss of Bheru running. He was sure fun to watch. Probably because he enjoyed it so much.
I was going back through some of the puppy photos and ran across this sweet picture of Bheru's face taken during a period of repose. This fellow was the one that most people fell in love with when they came to look at the pups. Is there any question why with a face as cute as this? This photo was taken on June 30, 2006 when the pups were 10 weeks old.
